Details

Description:Used to have an icon in the system tools menu for 'new login in nested window'. With gnome 2.20.1 this seems to have disappeared.


Additional info: GDM installed, I have Xnest and gdmflexiserver in path, etc...desktop file missing?

Reproducible with empty homedir.

Steps to reproduce:Install gnome 2.20.1 packages.

There's actually 2 bugs in here:
- defaults.conf specifies an empty Xnest= line
- gdmflexiserver-xnest.desktop specifies an empty TryExec line

When both are fixed this bug should not appear anymore. Question is, in defaults.conf, will we use Xnest or will we use Xephyr? I would go for Xephyr since that one has support for all the nice feature available in Xorg itself.

Any update on this? This is still not working on Gnome 2.22.

Here Xnest is again working fine.
