Hi,

Some icons has been blurry in gnome menu.
I think that's a bug from gnome.

My issue, is to force the icons sizes in gtk configuration file.

In my ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file I put :

gtk-icon-sizes = "panel-menu=24,24"

Does anybody have a solution to fix this bug ?

Thx

I this related to Fedora's icon review page where many of Gnome icons are marked as "blurry" as well?
Sorry, I don't remember URL now. :(

Could you provide a screenshot of how is this 'blurry' icon looks like?

Known issue. This is gtk2 bug.
I've been seeing it since gtk+ 2.11.6
It seems that some programs don't provide icons of all sizes. New gtk+ requires that programs have icons of all sizes and not just one size.
For example gimp has icons in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/{16x16,22x22,24x24,....64x64}/apps/gimp.png so it's icons appear correctly in gnome menu.
Other programs only provide a 64x64 icon so gnome menu won't find a 22x22 (or whatever is default size) icon so gnome menu renders the 64x64 one incorrectly.

If anyone is interested, I filed a upstream gtk+ bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=500836
