When plugging in my Nokia 6288 mobile phone as a USB storage device, dmesg gives me this output: usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2 usb 2-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62 usb 2-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62 usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 3 usb 2-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62 usb 2-1: device descriptor read/64, error -62 usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 4 usb 2-1: device not accepting address 4, error -62 usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 5 usb 2-1: device not accepting address 5, error -62 Additional info: * latest kernel (2.6.23-ARCH #1 SMP PREEMPT) * worked with kernel 2.6.22-20 (IIRC) and onwards; now not working again in 2.6.23 Steps to reproduce: Plug in a Nokia 6288 (maybe other Nokias too) via official USB cable and type dmesg into a console |

With the latest kernel update (seems to be the same version as before?), it's now automounted by gnome-vfs, but trying to copy anything from/to the memory card locks up the copy utility and no files are copied.

Same Problem with my USB HDD. This only happens on my desktop computer, on my notebook(same kernel) it works fine. Other USB devices like my USB flash drive work without problems on both computers.
