DetailsSince gnome 2.4 was replaced with gnome 2.6, the gnome group is still uncomplete or broken. A lot of gnome stuff is not installed at all when pacman -Sy gnome is run, to mention gedit or file-roller, epiphany or yelp, gnome-terminal, gnome-games and many many others.
Will it be fixed or is it a concept I don't understand :)? Btw: Keep up the sexy arch distro, it is ... sexy. |

If you read the frontpage, you know there's a gnome and a gnome-extra group now. Gnome-extra includes all the things you need to make it a complete gnome desktop (only dasher is missing)
