DetailsUpgrading libx11 to 1.1.3-4 causes problems with GDM. When you logout and try to relogin on GDM, you get the error below.
/etc/gdm/Xsession: Beginning session setup... /etc/gdm/Xsession: Setup done, will execute: /usr/bin/ssh-agent -- /usr/local/bin/start-xgl (gnome-session:10255): Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: Using fglrx 8.40.4-1 and GDM 2.20.0-1. Downgrading libx11 fixes the problem. |
