I would suggest to make a list of all packages that don't have the new $CARCH suffix and rebuild those, as the packages that have the suffix have been rebuilt already with the new GNU hashing. This would make our repositories consistent again in several ways: new packaging standards, new package format, GNU hashing and more important: old packages that don't build with gcc4 will be detected and should be fixed.
Still, if anyone wants to submit changes for these things, I would be able to commit them to CVS.
