Details

On new machine: pacman -Syu
with apapche,mysql,php,exim,...

httpd can't start - missing libxml2 (no i dependency) i copied it manually.

But after it PHP/httpd still works very unstable. It recognize only simple commands. Can't keep session.

Solution:
1. libxml2 download manually - no in depency

2. in /etc/php/php.ini
there is row which give path to extensions
should be /usr/lib/php/20060613
was /usr/lib/php/extension/php

In php.ini should be also extension=session.so

You might want to read the messages during php install. And have a look at the new php.ini. Use diff or something like kdiff2 to see the changes.
