Description:
hal needs to be compiled with --with-dell-backlight to allow control of laptop display panel brightness on dell laptops.

(I had to recompile hal with this option to allow kpowersave to control brightness.)

Well, actually i noticed that just a recompile (even without that option.. as it supposedly autodetects) made brightness control work.

If i install the official hal package, brightness control is greyed out in app(kpowersave).
