Oh and this worked fine when I was using all this prior to the update.

A change to "steps to reproduce":

Start SBCL in the console or in slime.
(require 'ASDF)
(require 'ASDF-INSTALL)
(asdf-install:install :html-template)

It should now show the error message as above.

This error also works with hunchentoot, and probably other packages.

I rolled back to the previous version - which just involved downloading the .9 release - and it's working fine again.

Either it's a problem on the maintainer's box or a general sbcl problem.

I'm not going to try rebuilding the .10 release - work to do...

Can't reproduce it with the latest 'steps to reproduce'.

Since I don't use sbcl can someone tell me if 1.0.11-1 fixes the problem?

Version 1.0.12 was released and still no word if this is still a problem. Closing.
