ldd /usr/sbin/pppd
says
ibpcap.so.0.9.7 => /usr/lib/libpcap.so.0.9.7 (0xb7f32000)

This means it will need to be rebuilt against /usr/lib/libpcap.so.0.9.8

After an update to libpcap 0.9.8 (libpcap-0.9.8-1-i686) my ADSL connection stop working. When i try:

/etc/rc.d/adsl start

here is the error in /var/log/messages.log:

"localhost pppoe-connect: PPPoE connection lost; attempting re-connection."

Rebuilding ppp-2.4.4 package against libpcap-0.9.8-1 solve the problem.
