The --enable-amazon is an old configure option before the big bmpx code reorganization. The option does not exist in configure any more. There are some amazon.cc and .hh so the functionality is still in the code. There is a "download covers" button on the "Library" tab in the Preferences but it doesn't seem to do anything.
