Description:
Gdm prints strange warning during system startup and when it's started manually:

gdm-binary[6380]: WARNING: Didn't understand `' (expected true or false)

Besides that gdm works well. I've tried to remove gdm and all it's config files, but it didn't help.
It's not related with gdm theme.

Additional info:
gdm 2.20.0-1

This is caused by the empty values in defaults.conf:

TimedLogin=

I'll remove them from the default configuration file soon, they're harmless though.

i have removed "TimedLogin=" from /usr/share/gdm/defaults.conf

but the issue is still present.

I can confirm what seby said. I removed the TimedLogine entry but the error continues.

Just comment out from /usr/share/gdm/defaults.conf all entries with no value

ENTRY=

to

#ENTRY=

and warnings disappear

sorry, does not work with 2.20... tested now... so can only confirm warning message.

I tried editing the file and commenting all empty entris and I still get the same error message. Noticed that using gdm-restart instead of the rc.d script doesn't produce any warning, not sure if gdm-restart re-reads the config file though.

This issue was fixed after upgrade to 2.20.1
