Please enable CONFIG_USB_SUSPEND in kernel26. This would be more laptop friendly.

this breaks scanners in sane, that was the reason for disabling it.
canon lide scanners get broken by it.

That's bad. Is there a solution on the way for this issue? I'm wondering now if everybody who uses a laptop and wants to get as much power as possible out of his batteries has to build his own kernel just because of some broken canon scanners.

i'll check canon lide code on san page soon, for now it stays as it is.
