When checking out the gnome help application, and I click to its menus, the menu has a white color instead of the grey color of the "Default" Gnome theme I am using. No other application has that problem, and so I don't think it is a theme bug.

Please report this upstream, this is not a packaging bug AFAIK. Maybe wait for the new gnome-themes and gnome-themes-extras packages that were released upstream but are not in arch already. gnome-themes-extras has some updated themes to suit gnome 2.6 better. If you still have the problems after Blaasvis placed the new gnome packages in archlinux, please submit this one upstream.

Sorry, but I do not agree. The bug might indeed be in the software itself as it comes from the original author, however, a user of an OS should not care about this. The point is that the bug appears in your project (the fact that it appears everywhere else too is irrelevant from business/usage point of view).
This means, that you fix it, and if you feel like it, you send the author a patch.

if we get paid yes, we are doing this on a voluntaire basis.
i am still at school.... so i do not have time to do 60 hours of arch every week.

Hmm, with latest gnome-themes, I can't reproduce this bug. Arjan didn't have time yet to update all gnome packages to the current versions that are ready for gnome 2.6.1, so it will get fixed this week or next week when Arjan starts upgrading packages. I think we could close this one then.
