Description: On upgrading openoffice-base from ftp://archlinux.puzzle.ch/extra/os/x86_64 I twice got an error message

openoffice-base 103.6M 234.3K/s 00:07:33 [#####################] 100%
checking package integrity...
:: Archive openoffice-base-2.3.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz is corrupted. Do you want to delete it? [Y/n] y
error: failed to commit transaction (corrupted package)
archive openoffice-base-2.3.0-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.gz was corrupted (bad MD5 or SHA1 checksum)

Upgrading from ftp://ftp.heanet.ie/mirrors/ftp.archlinux.org/extra/os/x86_64 worked fine.

This could be a transfer problem, but (1) I've never had those problems before and (b) the problem happened twice

Additional info:
* package version(s) 2.3.0-1
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce: pacman -S openoffice-base, while making sure that ftp://archlinux.puzzle.ch/ is first on the server list in pacman.d/extra

Reason for closing:  Fixed
Additional comments about closing:  try various mirrors. seems not all will fetch the fixed version.

It might be that the package got corrupted on mirror, or it was not yet fully downloaded by mirror.

Confirm, I also get this error with mirror:ftp://mirror.pacific.net.au/linux/archlinux/extra/os/x86_64.

if rsync.archlinux.org has a correct file, this should automatically get fixed the next time your mirror syncs,

see several forum posts. http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=37456

a new pkg has been uploaded. seems not all mirrors catch it. packages with this md5sum will work.
