Description:
Heads up: These three codec sets were added to the so-called "patent encumbered codecs" list in commit 7b22dd8bfdc380be2e4037c1207fcb30a46ad296, so they'll need to be enabled explicitly in an upcoming Mesa release if hardware support is expected.

Yes, that's right, they don't even compile the code out, they just add a shunt to force disable it.

Thanks for that...but there is no need for this. The mesa PM's pay very close attention to upstream developments. Have CC'd them anyway.
