Description:
Heads up: These three codec sets were added to the so-called "patent encumbered codecs" list in commit 7b22dd8bfdc380be2e4037c1207fcb30a46ad296, so they'll need to be enabled explicitly in an upcoming Mesa release if hardware support is expected. Additional info: * package version(s) Upcoming release, possibly some 24.xx version. * Upstream commits: Adds the options: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/7b22dd8bfdc380be2e4037c1207fcb30a46ad296 Implements the options: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mesa/mesa/-/commit/527def0171b0eeaa66ddfe7d0b82ee8b29cd2837 Yes, that's right, they don't even compile the code out, they just add a shunt to force disable it. |
