Details

Description:

When executing `kitty`, the time it takes for it to display a window is about 0.5 s longer than on the official binary distributed by the project, which is roughly a 3x increase in startup time.

FWIW, it starts up like lightning here. Probably best if you take this to the Arch support channels (Forum/IRC/etc) to see if anyone can help troubleshoot your system.
