Description:
Upstream is strongly opposed to switching from EOL pcre to pcre2 [1]. I have cherry-picked the two commits from swig to swig-renderdoc-modified-7 and the interfaces generated with pcre2 are identical. As upstream has stated they will not accept such a merge quest, do you want me to make such a merge request just to document it was rejected? Would you accept such changes or is the intention to vendor pcre should it be removed the repositories?
