As long as Arch Linux' minimum hardware requirements remain "x86-64 compatible CPU," packages installed in the conventional way via the distribution's package management system ought to also run on any "x86-64 compatible CPU." Suggest rebuilding this and future versions of this package with -march=x86-64 and -mtune=generic.

Steps to reproduce:
Install qgis-3.34.0-2 via pacman -S and attempt to run it

That is *exactly* how all Arch pkgs are (supposed to be) compiled. What CPU are you running this on?

Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3.00GHz

Thanks for that. But it works fine for me when running in a VM with the CPU set to "core2duo" (which is the closest CPU to yours in the list provided by QEMU/Libvirt)

You must have something else going on with your system (foreign compiled pkgs, AUR garbage, etc). You'll need to debug this harder.. because at this stage there is no indication of an Arch packaging issue.
