Description:

After v1.23.6 update, python-pymupdf causes RuntimeError when importing `fitz` module.
The same issue happened in the previous update #79933 requiring jbig2dec rebuild.

Additional info:

Steps to reproduce:
$ python
Python 3.11.5 (main, Sep 2 2023, 14:16:33) [GCC 13.2.1 20230801] on linux

Hi, thanks for the report.

I just pushed python-pymupdf 1.23.6-2 in [extra] which fixes the issue.
Tested successfully on my side, but I'll let you confirm it works on yours too before closing the bug.
