DetailsDescription:
Intel DG33BU Motherboard[1] and can't get ACPI to work, so only one processor is detected. The only way to get the system started is disabling acpi from kernel boot parameters (acpi=off). I'm booting the kernel26 2.6.22.6-1, and the lastest BIOS update (09/03/07). [1]http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/desktop/dg33bu/ |
This task depends upon
2.6.23 is coming soon.
I'm asking for curiosity, because I can wait, but I'd like to know how much I will have to wait
I've seen the 2.6.23 kernel on unstable repository and I tried on my laptop because I have another acpi issues and seems to make acpi fully work on my laptop, but it's still buggy (I think that explains why it's still on unstable ;) )
The latest unstable vanilla kernel is 2.6.23-rc6-git6. 2.6.23 final probably will be released at the end of this month or at the beginning of October (that's just my guess).
Thanx and sorry again
