Details

Description: By default libcall-ui translations are disabled upstream cos Gnome-Calls normally provides them already.

Additional info:
* package version(s) 0.32.0
* link to upstream bug report: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/libcall-ui/-/issues/28#note_1905438

Steps to reproduce:

When compiling **gnome-calls** there the translations are normally provided. Since Arch Linux ARM also adopted the packaging of Phosh similar as Arch Linux does those translations are now available there also and conflict with the gnome-calls package:

error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files)
phosh: /usr/share/locale/ca/LC_MESSAGES/call-ui.mo exists in filesystem (owned by gnome-calls)
phosh: /usr/share/locale/cs/LC_MESSAGES/call-ui.mo exists in filesystem (owned by gnome-calls)
phosh: /usr/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/call-ui.mo exists in filesystem (owned by gnome-calls)
phosh: /usr/share/locale/el/LC_MESSAGES/call-ui.mo exists in filesystem (owned by gnome-calls)
phosh: /usr/share/locale/es/LC_MESSAGES/call-ui.mo exists in filesystem (owned by gnome-calls)
phosh: /usr/share/locale/eu/LC_MESSAGES/call-ui.mo exists in filesystem (owned by gnome-calls)

I understand why Arch Linux provides call-ui translations as Gnome-Calls is not yet added to the repository. This might be solved when Upstream might decide to ship libcall-ui as a library at some point: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/libcall-ui/-/issues/27

Are there plans to ship **Gnome-Calls** at some point?

I've an update on the matter: Seems libcall-ui translations are only needed when gnome-calls is installed: https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Phosh/libcall-ui/-/issues/27#note_1905537

I suggest to disable libcall-ui translations in Phosh for now to not have a conflict with gnome-calls: callui-i18n=false

But gnome-calls is not packaged so this ticket is based on a false premise i.e. it's invalid. We can revisit if/when it gets packaged.
