DetailsDescription:
Java applets fail to load in konqueror unsing java-gcj-compat, while they show-up correctly using Sun's jre. Example: http://www.gnu.org/software/classpath (top-left corner) Note: this bug is filed against java-gcj-compat, assuming that kde/konqueror is well set. Am I missing something in terms of confguration? Thank you. Additional info: * package version(s) java-gcj-compat: 1.0.76-4 kdebase: 3.5.7-2 jre: 6u2-1 * config and/or log files etc. In konqueror, the java setting is set to /usr/bin/java Steps to reproduce: install java-gcj-compat, login/logout (source profiles), start konqueror, load url > fails install jre6, login/logout (source profiles), start konqueror, load url > works ok |

Actually, I'm not trying to use the libgcjwebplugin.so plugin. I'm using the standard and direct way Konqueror uses java.
But that does not work either.
Thanks again.
