Details

I get a number of missing libraries after a sysupgrade when I load some apps, and when I query for the package that the library in the question is in, the package _exists_ in the system's database, but many of its files are deleted by pacman out of the blue!! And when re-installing that package (even if it tells me that the package is up to date), then it FIXES the problem! That's what happened with balsa and many other packages. It seems that pacman is deleting random stuff upon installing new ones.

Okay, I need to be able to reproduce this. Can you give me some other packages (besdies balsa/libtool) that had this problem? I'll try installing them and duplicating the problem.
