Details

Description: This package only needs depends=python-pyyaml, not python-pyaml.

It's a common mistake on AUR.

Arch/extra/python-yaml provides python-pyyaml (btw the pkgname does not conform to Arch Python package guidelines: the module name is PyYAML, not YAML).

$ namcap /var/cache/pacman/pkg/apprise-1.6.0-2-any.pkg.tar.zst | grep pyaml
apprise W: Dependency included, but may not be needed ('python-pyaml')
