Description:
When I happen to remove gtk4 previosly installed as dependency for transmission-gtk, IME disfuctions in chromium under wayland due to the lack of gtk4 dependency.
With my config flags as: --ozone-platform-hint=auto --gtk-version=4, which is currently the only workaround for using ibus in chromium wayland.

Additional info:
* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc. chromium-flags as: --ozone-platform-hint=auto --gtk-version=4

Steps to reproduce:

The IME function issue is described in the Wiki [1]. But yes, I suppose the optdep could be justified:

$ strings /usr/lib/chromium/chromium | grep libgtk
libgtk-4.so.1
libgtk-3.so.0

I've always been looking forward to a ultimate solution for IME under Wayland. I'm using plasma-wayland with ibus as IME, but suffer from some issues such as input window doesn't fix to input blank position, tray icon menu and S-space switching pop up due to noting pressed...However all these issues with Xwayland is endurable, but add the optdep is a simple task could be achieved easily, I believe, which will provide a better experience for package management.
