Description:
After the latest update, when I start an X11 session, I do get some sort of display, funnily enough.
The desktop picture is gone, and that part of the screen is black.
There is a panel and a program that autolaunches does so.
I am also able to right-click on the desktop and select "Configure Display Options" from the context menu that appears.

But, when that menu opens, it does not detect any displays connected!
Very weird.
I am able to open nvidia-settings, and can also see that there is no screen attached, but this is sort of normal, as this laptop is Advanced Optimus with Intel iGPU and nVidia dGPU.

On the last previous version of the nvidia driver all this worked perfectly, and I was able to switch between X11 and Wayland in careless abandon.
Right now, Wayland is working properly as well.
I could go pester nVidia directly, but thought I'd raise this bug with you as well.

Additional info:
nVidia version: 535.113.01-6
I have this kernel switch active that might be relevant. nvidia_drm.modeset=1
It was required on the previous version of the driver to make the on-board HDMI port work for external monitors.

* package version(s)
* config and/or log files etc.
* link to upstream bug report, if any

Steps to reproduce:
Just run X11 session on latest updated Arch with an Advanced Optimus graphics solution.

I am quite open to pulling more logs, or taking this bug report to nVidia themselves if you prefer that.
I'm usually quite responsive on bug reports, so please don't hesitate to ask anything at all.
The bug is a pretty low level for me, as I have a working Wayland solution.
This task depends upon

Works fine here with an Nvidia card but I obviously don't have the same hardware. Seeing as there no indication of an Arch packaging issue, your best bet is probably the Arch support channels (Forum/IRC/etc) and/or Nvidia forum.
