DetailsMany subdirectories found under /usr/arm-none-eabi/lib/ and under /usr/lib/gcc/ in this package have their permissions set to 0700. This doesn't seem to have caused problems for my (first ever) cross-compile attempt, but it seems rather unusual in general.

The affected subdirs look like build artifacts that shouldn't have ended up in the pkg (i.e garbage). Therefore this seems pretty harmless. The PKGBUILD doesn't seem to be doing anything non-standard to cause this...which suggests a possible upstream issue with the Makefiles, but you should investigate further.
