Description:

To embrace the future and fix Y2038 problem, shadow 4.14 has gained `--enable-logind` build flag, and it defaults to enabled if libsystemd is present: https://github.com/shadow-maint/shadow/pull/757

Therefore, please add systemd-libs to makedepends().

(makedepends -> depends)

To confirm shadow 4.14.0-4 was built with systemd-libs installed as transitive dependency of base-devel so the issue is limited to the missing explicit dependency?

My original observation was that the shadow package contains no binary that links to libsystemd. But after checking the source thoroughly, it seems that `su` and `login` are the only two executables involving the use of logind/utmp, both of which are provided by util-linux on Arch.

Honestly speaking, I'm no longer sure whether to list systemd-libs explicitly in makedepends. While building `libmisc` static library, logind is used, but the result would be discarded since not used. Maybe the status quo is good enough?

Yes, I think so. namcap, find-libdeps, readelf, etc are not finding any linkage so it seems we're good. But thanks anyway for the heads-up.
