Details

Description: when installing the vboxhost dkms module, I get the following error:

ERROR: Missing 6.1.55-1-lts kernel modules tree for module vboxhost/7.0.10_OSE

Thing is, I'm running linux-6.5.4, not an lts kernel.

Additional info:
* version: 7.0.10_OSE
* error: ERROR: Missing 6.1.55-1-lts kernel modules tree for module vboxhost/7.0.10_OSE
when linux-6.5.4 is installed, not linux-lts-6.1.55-1

Steps to reproduce:

Install linux-6.5.4 and linux-headers-6.5.4
Install virtualbox_host_dkms-7.0.10-2

It throws the error during the installation/compilation of the module.

I can't believe for a second that the intent here was to limit the use of virtualbox to only lts kernels...

What directories are present in /usr/lib/modules ? Did DKMS fail for both linux-6.5.4.arch2-1 and linux-lts-6.1.55-1? You only posted output for the latter.
Also the output of:
# dkms status

You may not be using the lts kernel, but you have the headers package for it installed for some reason. Arch has multiple support channels (forums irc, etc.), you're better off using them for this kind of thing. It's not a bug, it's a misconfiguration on your end.
