DetailsThe package seems to use https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio instead of the
upstream https://github.com/obsproject/obs-studio. This was likely due to the repository being moved to the organization after creation. To my knowledge, when a user is deleted or a repository is moved, the original redirect is only protected for a limited time and it's possible to create a new repository at the same location after that grace period, causing the redirect to break. Since it seems undesirable that a user gets the wrong obs version (either accidentally, or due to a malicious actor), it's probably best to keep the repository URL up to date? |
