I'd like to request enabling the
[qemu-ui-gtk](https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/qemu-ui-gtk/)
clipboard, it is very useful to users of [Intel
GVT-g](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Intel_GVT-g) as the
GTK display is by far the highest performance display method
available.
Lahwaacz asked me to request this here, likely so he can remove the [QEMU section on custom builds](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/QEMU#Custom_build) I wrote and the [hint that using qemu-vdagent with the GTK display requires a custom build](https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/QEMU#qemu-vdagent). The functionality is still "experimental", I did not expect it to be integrated in the repository package, hence what I wrote on the wiki. For reference, the upstream discussion: https://gitlab.com/qemu-project/qemu/-/issues/1455 From my testing, the feature works splendid, but what do I know. Besides, I didn't expect guidance on creating custom QEMU builds (took me a while to figure out) to be a bad thing to be wiped from the wiki as it took me a while to figure out. |
