Details

Description:
My gVim installation crashes constantly after I press any button. It also takes Xorg down (X respawns on a new tty). Unfortunately I cannot give any more details because no logfile prints out anything when the crash happens.

Additional info:
* gVim 7.1.95-1 on x86_64
* I didn't change my configuration before the problems started

Steps to reproduce:
Start gvim, press ESC or j. When I load a file (gvim filename), the crash doesn't happen immediately, but occurs too.

Things I was doing when it started: I played with my device configuration (switched my keyboard to the evdev driver) and I modified my font configuration. I didn't notice any other problems since then so I doubt that this is related with the gvim crashes.

I have current, extra and community activated, but installed a few other packages:

The problem seems to be my X.org configuration (maybey some issue with the evdev driver, I'll have a closer look).

I used the evdev driver together with the evdev keyboard model (to support the additional keys on my keyboard). As soon as I changed the configuration back to "kbd" and "pc105" the crashes (gvim wasn't the only application affected) vanished.
