Description:

A `pacman -Syu` update installs me thrift 0.19.0-1 but GDAL is being compiled against 0.18.

Steps to reproduce:

This problem arised when using the R package sf that depends on the system library GDAL. See the GitHub issue indicated above.

gdal optionally uses arrow which was rebuilt for thrift 0.19 [1]. What version of arrow is installed on your system? If the system is fully updated use lddtree from pax-utils to lcoate what is linking to libthrift-0.18.1.so.
