use the command aurphan -t expected behavior: nothing or a list auf PKGBUILDs that need update output I get: egrep: warning: egrep is obsolescent; using grep -E Additional info: * package version: aurphan 20140212-3 Solution that worked for me: edit /usr/bin/aurphan Change html=$(egrep '(<h4>|Incomplete|View package details)' <<< "$(curl -s "$TODOURL")" | uniq) into html=$(grep -E '(<h4>|Incomplete|View package details)' <<< "$(curl -s "$TODOURL")" | uniq) |

Thanks, but it's an upstream issue so this must be reported upstream (even if upstream looks very quiet and the developer is no longer an Arch maintainer, it should still be reported there).
