DetailsDescription: When booting an ISO9660 image the serial console is not configured properly. Misconfiguration includes grub serial. This means that I can't even see GRUB to add `console=tty0 console=ttyS0,115200` line to kernel cmdline parameters.
ArchWiki[1] says that the image is configured with serial console but it's the Syslinux that is configured with serial and not GRUB, which happens to be the default boot target. Why does the image have both syslinux and grub I don't know. Additional info: * package version(s) archlinux-2023.08.01-x86_64.iso * config and/or log files etc. * link to upstream bug report, if any Steps to reproduce: 1. Boot ISO image 2. Observe you're booting into GRUB, not Syslinux 1. Boot ISO image 2. Observe serial console not working in the specified 115200N1 mode [1]: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Working_with_the_serial_console#Installing_Arch_Linux_using_the_serial_console |

Either way, archiso issues belong "upstream" in the Arch GitLab instance [1]. If there is indeed a bug, it will need to be submitted there.
