DetailsThis is a feature request to make this a split pakage that separates the pacman hook and the detector script.
Rationale: The detector script `checkrebuild` takes very long. So it is nice to users to give them the choice if they want to have it run automatically at each pacman installation, or just manually. |

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: Is being discussed in the linked Github issue, so far I'm not convinced. Also agree that I'd rather fix performance issues if there any - such reports directly to the Github are very appreciated.
