This is a feature request to make this a split pakage that separates the pacman hook and the detector script.

Rationale: The detector script `checkrebuild` takes very long. So it is nice to users to give them the choice if they want to have it run automatically at each pacman installation, or just manually.

Additional comments about closing:  Is being discussed in the linked Github issue, so far I'm not convinced. Also agree that I'd rather fix performance issues if there any - such reports directly to the Github are very appreciated.

This seems like a very weak argument for a pkg split IMHO. Maybe it needs a config option? If you think it's too slow, file an upstream issue?
