Please build the VTE package with SIXEL support.

Some CLI/TUI programs use Sixel to preview images like the Ranger file manager.

Please be more specific. Are there any other programs besides Ranger that are affected? Note that Ranger has not had an official release since 2019, so this report will be a very low priority if that's all you can come up with.

Anyway, sixel support was removed from the stable branch [1] coz "not in a releasable state" and "important and fundamental problems still unsolved".
