Description:

The audio in Remote Play stopped working.

There's an error in "/tmp/streaming_client.log":
```
Wed Aug 23 23:28:22 2023 UTC - Starting audio stream: frequency=48000, channels=2
Wed Aug 23 23:28:22 2023 UTC - Couldn't open audio device: format=2, channels=2, frequency=48000. Audio is disabled: ALSA: Couldn't open audio device: No such file or directory
```
There are also some other errors and warning there, so I'm attaching the full log.

There's this error on stdout when I run `steam-native` from terminal. This shows up after I click "STREAM" button, and it's the only line that shows up after doing that.
```
ALSA lib pcm_dmix.c:999:(snd_pcm_dmix_open) unable to open slave
```

I cannot check whether the problem is with native runtime or with the steam itself, as it never worked for me without native runtime.

packages:
multilib/steam-native-runtime 1.0.0.75-3
multilib/steam 1.0.0.78-1

Steps to reproduce:

Try to run game remotely with "STREAM" button (Remote Play).

There are no other reports about this and no indication here of an Arch packaging issue. You might have better luck taking this to the proper Arch support channels (Forum/IRC/Mailing Lists/Reddit/etc) to see if anyone can assist with troubleshooting your system. Please let us know what you find out.

It was working before and just broke suddenly, that's why assumed it's likely to be an issue with either steam or some audio package.

But if you're saying it's only me, then I'll try seeking support somewhere, as I have very little idea on how all those audio subsystems work.
