Steps to reproduce: upgrade duplicity

I have this same issue on my machine.
I've fixed this temporally by downgrading duplicity to 1.2.3 via pacman cache. See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Downgrading_packages.

Hmmm, it appears the 2.0.X upstream releases have been a little rough so far.. e.g. [1]
