Details

Qt 6.5.2 had a regression which causes a crash on drag & drop with Wayland:

- [Qutebrowser crashes when click-dragging on osticket · Issue #7827 · qutebrowser/qutebrowser](https://github.com/qutebrowser/qutebrowser/issues/7827)
- [[QTBUG-115757] [REG: 6.5.1-6.5.2] Drag and Drop segfaults programs - Qt Bug Tracker](https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-115757)

An upstream fix has been integrated:

- [client: Fix crash on dnd updates after client facing drag ends (Ib9c047f0) · Gerrit Code Review](https://codereview.qt-project.org/c/qt/qtwayland/+/495369)
- [qt/qtwayland.git - A toolbox for making Qt based Wayland compositors](https://code.qt.io/cgit/qt/qtwayland.git/commit/?h=6.5&id=02e9e0a2d4538eb2b3c26d3137228f8f501bcf7f)

Given how trivial the patch is, I think it'd be good to add it to the package to fix this before 6.5.3 is out ([planned for](https://wiki.qt.io/Qt_6.5_Release) early September)

I've applied the patches (commits 0697a0d9bf0dd786381762caa8f13935d0f784ac and 02e9e0a2d4538eb2b3c26d3137228f8f501bcf7f) onto the 6.5.2 code and haven't had any problems. These are the files, in case anyone wants them.
