Details

Description:
pidgin doesn't start after I updated the system.
When I try to launch it, it returns the following error:
pidgin: symbol lookup error: pidgin: undefined symbol: g_timeout_add_seconds
I did a pacman -Rnsc pidgin and reinstalled it afterwards, but it's still the same.

Additional info:

pacman -Qi pidgin
Name : pidgin
Version : 2.1.1-1

Steps to reproduce:
# pacman -Syu
# pidgin
pidgin: symbol lookup error: pidgin: undefined symbol: g_timeout_add_seconds

Update to glib 2.14 and your system will have the correct libraries to run pidgin.
