Description:
When pm-utils is used to suspend or hibernate a computer, it appears not to unload modules that aren't compatible with suspend. For example, on my machine sky2 (the ethernet module) is not unloaded, causing ethernet to stop working on resumption or several minutes later; the only way around this is to unload and reload sky2 after resuming. Steps to reproduce: 1. On a machine which needs suspend-incompatible modules, suspend using pm-utils. 2. Resume. Watch the modules fail to do their job. |
