DetailsDescription:
After update to xf86-video-ati-6.7.192, X starts in very high resolution: 2048x1536 (I didn't know that my monitor can display so much data). Used configuration file has 1024x768 defined as highest mode. So why it uses 2048x1536? Xrandr lists all video modes, from 2048x1536 down't to lowest ones. After downgrade to 6.6.193 everything back to normal. Additional info: * xf86-video-ati 6.7.192-1 * xorg-server 1.3.0.0-6 * Linux 2.6.22 * Radeon 9800 Pro (AGP) * libgl-dri 7.0.1-1 * mesa 7.0.1-1 * libdrm 2.3.0-1 Steps to reproduce: |

Can you post your xorg.0.log please? What does `xrandr -q` output?
