DetailsDescription:
I am running an AMD Ryzen 5600X and NVIDIA GTX 1070. X won't start as it normally does - the problem only happens when I upgrade the linux package from 6.4.4 to 6.4.6, and disappears when I downgrade with pacman -U. Additional info: * NVIDIA driver version: 535.87.05-2 * Also using: nvidia-utils-nvlax 535.87.05-1 (this is slightly wacky so figured might have something to do with it) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: 1. Upgrade Linux kernel from 6.4.4 to 6.4.6 Apologies for any mistakes - this is my first bug report but I have followed the bug reporting guidelines on the Wiki and am happy to provide any further logs if helpful. Attached is an Xorg.0.log from a crashed X launch. I assume it might be helpful to try upgrading to 6.4.6 to collect the logs from dmesg, the NVIDIA driver or something similar. Do let me know and thank you! |
