DetailsDescription:
Additional info: * package version(s) 1.3.40-3 * config and/or log files etc. NA * link to upstream bug report, if any NA Steps to reproduce: The package here is missing `libGraphicsMagick++-Q16.so.12` which is packaged by other distributions [1], [2] and applications might depend on it. Afaik, the following build args will build that library: ``` --enable-quantum-library-names --with-quantum-depth=16 --with-magick_plus_plus ``` [1] https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/GraphicsMagick/blob/rawhide/f/GraphicsMagick.spec#_341 [2] https://sources.debian.org/src/graphicsmagick/1.4%2Breally1.3.40-4/debian/rules/#L73 |

It turns out I'm not so sure about this... those options don't add a missing library they just rename the one we have. I think we already have it packaged, just without the extra quantum naming scheme, whatever that is for. Applications that depend on a library should be built against the distribution that has the library. I don't want to change the naming scheme arbitrarily. If there is some reason this should change feel free to re-open on post a follow up issue, but as is I don't see a reason to break things that are already compiled against what we have!
