DetailsDescription:
When logging in with SSO, the authentication is done outside the application and the final authentication token is passed via a bitwarden:// URL. Therefore the .desktop file must have MimeType=x-scheme-handler/bitwarden in it. I've tested that the SSO login works with this appended to /usr/share/applications/bitwarden.desktop. Additional info: * Version 2023.5.1-1 * Same issue encountered with AppImage: https://github.com/bitwarden/desktop/pull/554/files Steps to reproduce: Attempt to log in with SSO. The redirect after logging in that is supposed to send the bitwarden:// link to the application fails (in Firefox it only logs to console). |
