DetailsDescription:
With version 10.0.0 upstream removed support for PyQt5 (see commit 59c9d87f [0]) but didn't mention this in the release notes. The python-pillow ArchLinux package still lists python-pyqt5 as optional dependency for ImageQt, this should now be python-pyqt6. If python-pyqt6 is not already installed, you get errors like "ImportError: cannot import name 'ImageQt' from 'PIL.ImageQt' (/usr/lib/python3.11/site-packages/PIL/ImageQt.py)". This issue may extend to other packages that depend on python-pillow and use the ImageQt feature, as they may have a dependency on python-pyqt5 in order to satisfy the optional dependency. One example is videocut [1], where I initially ran into this issue.
