DetailsDescription:
The pwndbg PKGBUILD does not clone the gdb-pt-dump Git submodule located in the root of the pwndbg repository. This means that when you try to connect with GDB to a QEMU-based virtual machine, you will get an exception: Exception occurred: context: No module named 'pt' (<class 'ModuleNotFoundError'>) A possible fix is to include the gdb-pt-dump repository in the source array of the PKGBUILD and then copy it along with pwndbg in package() to /usr/share/pwndbg. Additional info: * package version: pwndbg 2023.03.19-3 Steps to reproduce: 0. Connect with GDB to a QEMU-based virtual machine (in my case with KVM acceleration) 1. Exception occurs |
