Description:
When I install kernel 6.4, xorg-server, xfce4, and lightdm in VirtualBox, enable lightdm.service, and try to boot, I just get a black screen. Furthermore, if I log in on a different TTY and run startx, I get a black screen there too. Reverting to kernel 6.1 (LTS) fixes the problem.

Steps to reproduce:
Install Arch in a new VirtualBox VM
# pacman -Sy xorg-server xfce4 lightdm
# systemctl enable lightdm.service
Restart VM

This combo works fine on real hardware and also on KVM/QEMU. You'll need to report this upstream to the VirtualBox folks because this does not appear to be an Arch packaging issue.

Additionally, "I can't get this to work" style problems should first be raised in the proper support channels (Forum/IRC/Mailing Lists/Reddit/etc) before raising a ticket in the bug tracker. Please review the guidelines [1] for more background.
